COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Evil Cousin is Heretic’s take on a West coast imperial IPA. This beer is a bold, in-your-face hop monster. It has a light, easy drinking malt character that allows the hops to stand out. The hop character in this beer is intentionally on the dank side; big, sticky, and aggressive. This beer is for those of you who can’t get enough hops. Join us on the dank side.

Sampled in a bomber. A big time ipa with a huge bite. A really enjoyable slow drinking ipa. Has a very floral aroma and long lasting palate boost. Great brew.

Had a couple thick & wonderful dogfish head brews before this, so crisp in comparison and crisp for IIPAs in general. Amazed at how pale yellow it is, modest white head. A session imperial ipa? smooth and all, light alcohol presence, like I expect a little more character, still nothing to offend or question.

Great DIPA , full of sherbet hops on the nose, drinks pine resin thick, and has a great bitter finish

Bomber poured into a Stein. Nice translucent dark golden appearance with moderately thin lacing that pretty much dissolves the head about halfway down. Taste is pineapple grapefruit that sort of takes a back seat to the forward hop bitterness that takes a front seat along for this ride. Has a nice kick as well. I like it.

5/7/15 from bomber dated 1/15/15 lot 204. Amber color with one finger head. Good piney hops aroma. Pretty well balanced slightly heavy on hops side with a little bitter aftertaste. Quite good and similar to Pliny the Elder. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber pours hazy yellow with fluffy white persistent head. Fruity, dank nose. Huge tropical flavors on the palate: mango, pineapple, papaya. Overall, nice balance between malt and hops, lush flavors, no piney west coast hop aroma. Very nice!
