COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Evil Cousin is Heretic’s take on a West coast imperial IPA. This beer is a bold, in-your-face hop monster. It has a light, easy drinking malt character that allows the hops to stand out. The hop character in this beer is intentionally on the dank side; big, sticky, and aggressive. This beer is for those of you who can’t get enough hops. Join us on the dank side.

Poured from bomber, picked up at the brewery yesterday. Somewhat clear golden with a medium white head. Nose is mostly citrus, not too strong, with a bit of caramel. Smooth well balanced taste, not as strong as some of my favorite doubles, but rather good. Medium bodied with a nice bitter finish.

Clear, light golden color. Nice lasting head. Aromas of tropical fruits, pineapple, light caramel malts, and some alcohol come through. Start quite sweet and leads to a pleasant, hoppy finish. This has a big hop flavor with ripe tropical fruits, citrus, and pine. Has a touch of fruity esters, but not much. It is very easy drinking, despite its body. Quite balanced for the style which is a plus, but I did get it imported to Europe from California, so a lot of the hoppiness surely degraded on the trip.

Bottle shared with Erwin Van Moll @ Brewpub Van Moll. Hazy orange golden color, medium sized white to off-white head. Aroma is malts, hops, tropical fruits, mango. Taste malts, hops, fruit hops, mango, passionfruit, peach. Finish is a nice mix between fruit hops and hop bitter. Way more refreshing compared to most IIPAs back use it is "only" 8% ABV and hint got any resin or pine. Even though I love resin and pine, this is nice for a change. Suitable medium body and carbonation. Nice one!

Pale golden with a white head - Fruity hop aroma with hints of citrus and some pine and herbs as well - Malt body to support the hops that is fruity and herbal - The hops goes into the finish with some citurs and herbal notes and it goes dryish in the back - This was good

355ml can from Vinmonopolet Langnes.. Hazy yellow-gold body under a finger-thick white head. Nice lacework on the glassware. Inviting fruity cocktail on the nose, peach and citrus. Succulent hopped fruity flavours, including moments of pineapple, lemon and peach. Mid-dry fruity bitterness to the finish. Smooth in the mouth. Fine bodied. Excellent drinkability (Friday eve at home in Tromsø, 15.07.2016).
