Evil Cousin is Hereticís take on a West coast imperial IPA. This beer is a bold, in-your-face hop monster. It has a light, easy drinking malt character that allows the hops to stand out. The hop character in this beer is intentionally on the dank side; big, sticky, and aggressive. This beer is for those of you who canít get enough hops. Join us on the dank side.

Great use of hops...and they add them by the ton. While the aroma is amazing, the lightness of the beer is a bit off for a DIPA. The ABV is completely unnoticeable - to the point that there should be more. The hop flavor doesnít just stand infront of the malt flavor, it fully eclipses it. I would have preferred there to be a bit more malt in there...not to mute the hops, but to give it more of a appearance, palate, and abv backbone. A great NorCal hop bomb.

Nice white head... good lacing and retention.. the brew is very clear light orange. The nose is really weird for me... garlic chives come to mind immediately... garlic and onion.. nothing else to speak of... so very odd. The garlic and onion notes come swinging again on the palate and are punctuated by some citrus zest... pale malts mid palate pull the hops up and out... but the finish is just long and lingering garlic.. The body and carbonation are near perfect.

This is a very well made, quite subtle DIPA, with aromas of pine, grapefruit, nougat, peach, plum and honey. The alcohol is quite prominent in the mouth, but the hops are strong yet refined, and thereís a nice aftertaste of plum, pine and honey that make this a very enjoyable beer.

Aroma is sweet malts with hop aromas of passionfruit, grapefruit, citrus, and lemongrass. Taste is pretty much the same however it finishes very sol monthly and little to no hop tartiness or burn. Appearance is a clear gold with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well.

22 oz bottle. In Hawaii Tasting with IslandHaole. Thanks Dan! Clear golden color with a small white head. Fruity hops, moderate bitterness and dry grainy malt in the aroma. The flavor is dry hops, mild tartness, bitterness and malty dryness. Tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber from TRT. Poured a chill hazed murky orange amber with a large frothy white head. Aroma is dank, cat piss, honey topped toast, apricots, peach, mango, clementines, lime. Flavor is similar but more grainy and fruit rind. Full big body, average carbonation and a quicker finish for such a big beer.

Tap at Watering Hole. Hazy golden color with a nice soapy white head. Great aromas of green pineapple, tangerine, papaya and bright citrus flavors along with some resin on the nose as well. Taste is fairly similar with the tangerine and some mango coming on the finish. Good bitterness. Medium body. Awesome.

Poured from bomber. Pours hazy golden color with foamy white head. Aroma is citrus and pine resin. Flavor is citrus up front with Fllintstone vitamin fruity mineral flavors. Tropical fruity flavors with booziness follow. Finishes with big dry bitter pine resin.

30-JUL-2015, draft @BierCap. Dark hazy amber with lasting, creamy, tan head. Very hoppy with grape fruit and pine. Lots of malty stuff - caramel and bread. Full body, sweet, very bitter. Nice.
