COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This blood-red ale may not be what you might expect from a malty and hoppy craft beer. Evil Twin has a rich malt character, without being overly sweet. It has a huge hop character, without being overly bitter. It is a great example of a bold, rich, balanced craft beer, without being heavy and hard to drink in quantity. Our Evil Twin is only bad because it is too good to resist.

Dark gold with a nice orange cast. Large dense white head. Big pine aroma. Flavor of malt with a big resiny hops component. Great balance of hops and malt. Full bodied with a long malt/hop finish. Great DIPA!

Smells beautiful. Of grapefruit and passionfruit with sweet biscuit aroma. Pours dark ruby red with fine tan head. Ginger snap biscuit then the hops come bundling in quickly moderate but not overpowering bittering with a fruit salad tang. Tropical fruit and citrus finish.

Nice balance of toasty malts, Bready caramel biscuits into just enough citrussy bitter hops, very enjoyable!

Pours from bomber a dark amber color with a frothy off-white/khaki head and excellent lacing. Aroma is a mix of strong citrus, tropical hops with some sweet toasted caramel and biscuit malt and a bit of pine. Flavour of pine and citrus hop flavor and caramel and dark fruit malt. Ends somewhat creamy, drinkable beer.

Bomber ours ruby brown with thin tan head. Malty, but not too sweet. Hoppy, but not too bitter. Overall, a unique style for a "red IPA."

No retention and light lacing. Smells of floral, sweet malt and oranges. Tastes of pineapple, grapefruit and floral. Bitter aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from the bomber into a shaker. Clear ruby brown with a tan head. Aroma is a big dose of grassy and floral hops - smells like a wet hopped beer. Flavor starts with some caramel malt and leads right into all of the hop character. Again, a nice dose of fresh hops! Medium bodied with a slightly oily mouthfeel. Overall this is quite delicious and very fresh tasting.
