COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This blood-red ale may not be what you might expect from a malty and hoppy craft beer. Evil Twin has a rich malt character, without being overly sweet. It has a huge hop character, without being overly bitter. It is a great example of a bold, rich, balanced craft beer, without being heavy and hard to drink in quantity. Our Evil Twin is only bad because it is too good to resist.

Bottled. Dark amber coloured. Dense beige head. Aroma of berries, caramel, flowers, spice,Light grass. Flavour is quite aggressively hoppy. Loads of grass, herbs and flowers. Some caramel and grape. Medium to full bodied. Ends ona dense and dry herbalbitterness. Maybe a bit too hoppy. Could have usted some maltsweetness for balance. Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Light clear golden body with a large creamy white head. Nose is red fruits, grass, citric peel, tomato plant and hints of red fruits, pale malts and wine gum. Taste is pale malts, grass, grape peel, red fruits and hints of straw, alcohol and wine gum. Medium body, high to medium carbonation. Fair enough but no winner.

Rich hazy deep amber coloured body with a thick, four centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of alcohol, caramel, toffee, grain, bright earthy hops and some pine as well. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong rich grain flavour with a lot of alcohol, some pine and caramel, earth, toffee, grapefruit and a lot of malt and burn on the end. Aftertaste shows some malt and grain flavours with a lot of alcohol, a ton of hop bitterness and some good sweetness. Overall, a nice and rich beer with a lot of flavours and some rather well hidden alcohol notes, but shows strong on the end. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from the Kona Wine Market in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii [Island], Hawaii on 10-August-2016 for US$8,10 sampled in my hotel/condo on 12-August-2016.

Bottle, JBM, one year old. Pours in clear brown body with medium frothy head. Aroma has a lot of caramel upfront with a lot of tropical citrus fruits in the background. Taste has pine bitterness, pretty high, along with high caramel sweetness. Body is full, thick, medium-low carbonation.
