It’s a pretty balanced red ale. Amazing aroma and not to hop forward. Really drinkable and enjoyable brew. Like it a lot and would re buy. I’d definitely drink a couple of pints of this

0.65 L bottle, kindly shared by GrOve. Pours a dark amber body with good clarity. Mediumsized off-white head. Quite bold hop aroma, reminscent of grapefruit, leaves, earth and resin. Nicely balanced by toasted, breadcrust scented malts. Sweetish, toasted/mildly roasted and buiscuity malt base. Fruity and resinous bitterness. Medium full. Balanced fruity bitter and malty ending. Very likable.

Pours brown with a large head.
Nose shows herbal, spicy and piny hops along with some biscuity malt and a minty note.
Very similar flavours: herbal, minty and piny hops alongside some toasty malt hidden underneath followed by a sharp, aggressive bitterness.
Carbonation is a little over the top.

Pours murky brown red, creamy med head. Smells.. Piney, floral hops, grapefruit, caramels and some toffee. Tastes..fresh and piney hops, nice bitter grapefruit flavours, caramel and toffee sweetness that balances the bitter action. Nice red.

Tap - good size foamy head, beautiful drak amber/red color, nice big citrus hop aroma and flavor, with a good mildly sweet malt balance; excellent brew overall

Small beige head. Hazy brown body. Roasty dried fruity aroma with resiny notes. Dry-sweet wooden spicy taste with caramelly dandelion notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish mealy mouthfeel. Dry-bitter dandelion and roasty caramel aftertaste with herbal notes. A bit sharp and bitter. (0.65l bottle, shared by gr0ve.)

A decent red, a little on the hoppy end. Pours a beautiful red with a tan head. Smells of hops, nothing else. Taste starts fruity, but quickly turns hoppy. Not a huge bitter aftertaste though. Had at tap at the Bay Area Craft Beer Festival
