5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
This beer is amazing. first off it’s 4.4 which..come on..i don’t usually shoot that low on an abv but i knew Jamil brewed this so here we go..Aroma: like i opened a fresh bag of rye bread. We might need a reuben version of this beer but i digress..the taste: straight up gangsta..super rye and oh what is that? a nice lil sour finish to make your day. Man i love this one. Can’t wait for the "Gramarye" aged on sourkraut. Salute.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
A - Pours a clear amber-orange with a finger of frothy white head. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some nice lacing.
S - Aroma is a mix of grapefruit and pine hops with some sweet caramel malts, spicy rye, and a touch of bready malts.
T - Starts off with a mix of grapefruit and citrus hops with some bitterness and some sweet caramel malts. Through the middle, some pine and floral hops come through with some more bitterness and some spicy and earthy rye. The finish is a mix of grapefruit and pine hops, bitterness, spicy rye notes, and some sweet, lightly bready malts.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a dry, bitter, and earthy finish.
D - Very drinkable. Nice hopp rye pale ale. Great overall balance with some good rye character.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
I can see how this won at GABF. Pretty good. Remember this is a session ale. A pretty flavorful one at that. Very drinkable with a nice hoppy rye punch to it. I would love to try it on tap. Preferably the bottom of the keg.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
It pours a pretty dark orange color with plenty of bubbly action going from the bottom of the glass up. The aroma is primarily rye to me. Usually with rye beers that is a flavor that is part of the whole package and not up front and center. Here it is right on the nose. Has quite a bit of carbonation in the flavor that is followed to the tongue by the rye which is almost bready at this point and then the bitterness which really lingers at the back. I am also getting some vanilla notes as well. All of this at 4.4% abv. No wonder it won gold.

Had a pint on tap. Man, I’d session the crap out of this. Delicious and refreshing, a little spicy and remarkable body for 4.4%.

4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber from Total Wine in Thousand Oaks, CA. Deep copper pour with a moderate and persistent off-white head. tons of lacing. Nutty, honey, fresh baked bread crust, and floral hop aroma. Smooth malty mouthfeel, with a pronounced crisp toasted rye flavor. Very dry, hoppy finish that lingers. For such an easy drinkin’ beer, this has a load of depth.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber poured a clear orange amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of rye, carmel, orange, pink grapefruit and pine. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of rye, grapefruit, pine, light carmel and a hint of earthiness with a crisp dry bitter lingering rye finish.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Wade’s Wines. Aroma - bready/toasty malt, mellow rye spiciness, some fruity hops. Pours clear amber, frothy off-white head had good retention and laces nicely. Great malt flavors - toasty, slightly spicy, rye bread, nice and dry. Some citrusy hops poke through, fairly light bitterness nicely balances the malt. Relatively light body, bone dry finish, medium carbonation. This would definitely be on the short list of go-to session-able beers if I had easy access. Well done.

Very nice beer, well balanced, drinks like a red or rye ipa, great body for such low abv. Well done.
