4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 ngeunit1 (1544) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUL 8, 2012
A - Served a clear copper-yellow with a thin finger of frothy white head. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some good lace.
S - Aroma is a mix of slightly sour Brett with some lemon peel and other citrus aromas, and some Belgian yeast esters with a bit of bready malts.
T - Starts off with some light tartness and sourness with some citrus and light yeast esters. Through the middle, some more citrus and lemon peel comes through with some coriander, Brett, and light bready malts. The finish is a mix of tartness with some citrus, yeast, and spice.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a tart and dry finish.
D - Very drinkable. Nicely balanced with a good complexity and depth added by the Brett.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 JoeMcPhee (7622) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 27, 2012
Pale straw coloured pour with a lovely white head. The nose is great. Fresh, spicy and slightly minty. A touch of white pepper and some sweet herbal, minerally character. Flinty and slightly tropical with a bit of light fruit as well. A touch of gooseberry and kiwi character in addition to a nice mintiness. Really solid brew.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 ekoerper (548) - Iowa, USA - SEP 14, 2011
Subtle aroma, light dose of spicy hops, faintly malty, a bit of brett in the background. Pours a very hazy golden, thin creamy white head with average retention and lots of lacing. Lightly spicy flavor, pepper and faint brett, maybe some rye, sort of subdued. Medium body and carbonation.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Oakes (10941) - Savusavu, FIJI ISLANDS - SEP 6, 2011
On tap at Naja’s. Hazy dull straw colour. Thin head. Well, not really impressive on the nose - spicy specialty grain aroma (rye, oats, etc) and fuggley hops. Spicy, oaty, minty palate with light hops. The body is a bit thin, there is perhaps not enough residual malt sweetness. Not really a table beer, and not as interesting as I wanted it to be.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 beerguy101 (5206) - Newark, California, USA - SEP 1, 2011
Sampled at Beer Revolution on 8/20/2011. This Belgian Ale pours a light gold color from the tap. Medium to large sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, yeasty and citrusy. A medium bodied Belgian Ale. The malts are fruity, yeasty and sweet. The hops are grapefruity. Decent carbonation. Touch of yeast, some funk and a touch of banana. Interesting beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean an smooth. Aftertaste is sweet.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - AUG 21, 2011
Draught at Creekside Brewing. Clear gold with a small and quickly dissipating head. Lemon grass and sweet raspberry lead the aroma, which has a nice touch of brett and some sweet malt as well. Definitely a nice estery aroma, though somewhat subtle. The flavor is dry and very lightly tart with a touch of lemon that cones out in the finish after awhile. Overall though it’s a little short and empty. Body is light and carbonation is moderate. Nice stuff if a little blander than I thought.

A: The pour is a relatively clear golden-straw color with a sizable white head.
S: Interesting aromas to this one. Heavy on the grass and straw with a good amount of peppery phenols. A good amount of sweet fruits such as pears and apples along with bread and cracker malts and a healthy dose of yeast.
T: Sweet pale, cracker malts start this one off. The yeast contributions are on display here as well. Lots of wet straw and white pepper. A little bit of green apple skins along with some actual yeast itself. Just a very light bitterness.
M: Medium in body with a medium to high carbonation.
O: The Brettanomyces does add something interesting to this beer. It would be nice to see where this beer might go with age.

draft at Beer Revolution. Nice light Belgian nose. pretty golden color. Sweetish flavor, almost like grainy. Light refreshing body. Boardering on a light IPAD rather than a Belgian.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 joeneugs (2143) - Livermore, California, USA - JUL 30, 2011
On tap at Beer Revolution. This one pours golden with a descent white head. The aroma is thick with bread crust and orange. The flavor is the some with an emphasis on orangy hops and some mild funk that dries it out in the finish. The body is thin, but lots of flavor in this table beer. Not much Belgian yeast flavor, but I really enjoyed the mildly hoppy and dry bretty finish.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 marcus (5004) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUL 29, 2011
On tap at Beer Revolution. Pours copper with a thin off-white head and a banana aroma. There is a spicy caramel malt flavor with lots of banana ester and a bitter finish.
