Clear with no head. Fresh pale malt nose. Clean. Very sour acid palate. Tight and quenching. Lots of citrus flavor. Well made beer. Refreshing not challenging.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pale yellow pour, fizzy, big white head. Aroma is citrus, sour milk. Taste is wheaty, slightly tart, but overwhelmingly a fairly neutral mineral water taste. Not a style I love, Iím trying but they just keep disappointing me, so Iím not a great judge

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from the brewery. It pours a clear pale yellow color with a fizzy white head that disappears. The aroma has wheat and very lightly toasted grains. Hints of lemon and herbs. The flavor has some lightly herbal hops, strong wheat and very light tartness. The body is a bit dull for the style, but still somewhat refreshing. A bit more lemony tartness and a lower gravity would probably help this one.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
4.8%ABV. Berliner Weisse.
Tapped out gold. 4ļSRM.
Nose is strongly acrid with a very strong phenolic character. I still call this the aroma of crushed ants with the acrid tang of formic acid hitting you high in the nose. There may be some wheaty, floury aromas in the tail end as well.
Mouthfeel is watery. Palate is pale malt with wheaty flavors of water biscuit, raw peanuts, raw wheat flour, raw dough. No hops. Overall this drinks like it looks, light and airy.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at DC Hama. Very light wheat nose with some light lemon and crackery malts. Body is very light with slightly watery mouthfeel. Very refreshing and easily drinkable by the gallon. Nice light tartness on the palate that keeps you coming back for more. Very simple beer, but solid for the style. Very enjoyable.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
a foamy white head dies back pretty quickly leaving little lacing... the brew is traditional looking very pale straw golden that sorta glows with a light haze.
Nose is tart and shows plenty of wheat character...
Flavor is nicely lactic.... softened a bit by the malt profile... lemony and a bit of cracker....
Body may be a touch high for the style... could use more carbonation.
I liked this one.... The label says a sour mash is used... More complex than my feeble palate can describe.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A little too grainy and not enough tart for me. An ok beer, but pretty low in the ranks of Berliners.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
22 oz bottle dated 6/25/2012. Letís see if age helps this thing out.
Aroma is fairly dull. Light what and grain notes with a light lactic acidity. Hints of citrus and yogurt. Light stone fruit character.
Pours a slightly hazy, pale yellow, straw color with a moderately sized, thin white head that quickly recedes to the edges. No lacing or legs.
Flavor is rather disappointing. Just a light hint of acidity up front; I have had more acidic Saisons. Light make and what notes with hints of citrus and stone fruit. No bitterness.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and slightly water with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a really not nice Berliner with only faint acidity. This clearly did not get more acidic with age. It also send to lack charger and carbonation.
