Bottle, thanks pivnizub. Sweet, light candyuish malt nose, metallic hops. Orange amber, fine bubbles, tanned head. Berrylike start, papery malt center, ok spicy notes, rusty hops, paper and gunpowder retronasal. Fairly lightbodied.

330ml bottle. Clear amber colour with average frothy off-white head. Bitter hop induced Caramel malt aroma, slightly sweet, tendency to strawy. Low carbonation, monotonous taste, hop note on the edge soapyness, slightly sweet caramel malt basis.

Mahogany colour, slight haze, one finger head. Not much of an aroma, slight maltyness if anything. Tasted lots of malt but it had a grainy aftertaste, it was a bit unbalanced. Fairly smooth without too much carbonation. Nothing special.

Bottle at Carsten.
Clear dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma medium malty (caramel, roasted) and hoppy. Flavor medium sweet and bitter. Medium body. Really nice.

Draught at German Christmas Market, Birmingham. Amber colour, with no head. Tepid, flat mouthfeel in fact. Taste is mildly pleasant: lager base, with nutty overtones and a smidge of cinnamon or something similar. OK.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass also. Dark but not black, nice head. Starts soft-malty, not as strong as exspected. More and more spicy, also roasty with a soft smokey touch. Finish well balanced, still spicy. Could be a bit more intense, but still a great beer!

Insgesamt sehr hopfenwürzig mit weichem Nachhall.
Mir persönlich zu malzig-süß ausgefallen.

Danke an Stöpsel für das Bier! Süßer, etwas würziger Geruch, der etwas künstlich wirkt. Das erschnupperte künstliche setzt sich im Geschmack fort, das Bier wirkt überaus muffig, daneben hopfig. Würzig, penetrant bitter - alles ist auf einmal da, das wirkt außerordentlich unkoordiniert und disharmonisch. Im nachgeschmack süß. Muss ich nicht haben!

Well, that the Christmas season is over and this disappears brew for nine months from the sales floor. This is a very watery beer.

Colour is darrk golden with a creamy white top. Aroma is caramel an spice. Flavour is spice, malt and caramel.
