[411-20070708] 650mL. The warm mellow tones of her handsome captor’s voice were imbued with a rich quality that seemed to vibrate through her womanly being. Realizing he had come upon her suddenly, and almost violently, a breathlessly foamy gasp was snatched from her long white throat as he silently demanded her attention, penetrating to her very soul with his hazy, light orange eyes. His sweet and intoxicating cologne wafted through the crackling air between them, a strong passionfruit aroma with notes of lychee and peach nectar, tantalizing her olfactory senses. As evocative as the sensations were, she didn’t quite know what to make of them. "I am... G-gweneth..." she breathed and suffered a slow, scorching blush, almost groaning at the syrupy clumsiness of her tongue. His crisply chiseled features softened with an amused grin and she could only watch as he unhurriedly lowered his head towards her face. Teasing her with unknown fruits of passion, he traced her supple lips with his tongue in a gentle caress. She tentatively opened her mouth and he dipped his tongue inside, drinking from her silken portal as if she were nectar from the gods. Wanton, racy thoughts flitted through her mind, exposing themselves through little moans of captive pleasure. He pressed his capable body against her maidenly figure and caught her gently as her knees went weak in sweet expectation. "This is too much," she gasped, unable and unwilling to move. "My darling," he breathed into her little ear so only she could hear him whispering his inviting words, "How enchanted I am to have waited for you..."

Bottle. Hazy dark yellow with a small white head. Candy sweet peachy aroma. Flavour is pleasantly fruity with enjoyable sweet peach flavours, but the over the top candy like sweetness is too much to drink more than a small amount in a sitting. Medium syrupy palate. (3+) A decent pairing with a fruity dessert, but a sickly sweet libation if enjoyed on its own.

Sampled at 2007 Brewnosers’ Christmas Gathering. Pink colour with a mostly diminishing pink tinted head. Passion fruit dominant in both aroma and flavour with not much else getting through. Light bodied, refreshing. Pleasant, but not very “beery” in the least.

(Rating #490)

Bottle shared with several others at Volo - thanks, R. Clear, bright pinkish-golden colour with a small white head. Sweet aroma of peach and passionfruit - not bad, actually. Thin, sticky body. Very sweet, candyish flavour with lots of artificial fruit. I didn’t completely hate it - but I also couldn’t imagine drinking more than the small glass that I had. Ah well, kudos to Heritage for at least trying something different.

Sample at Volo. Lots of fruit in aroma that comes of as artificial quickly. Decent reddish orange pour with some pink in there as well, little head. Taste is all fruit and incredibly sweet - I couldn’t get over how something this thin was this sweet. Dominated all other flavors and the thin body becomes syrupy in a hurry. Another interesting effort, and actually might not be bad sharing with dessert, but a bomber to yourself? Yikes...

Bomber- Pours a pinkish red Kool-aid. Head is fizzy and long lived white foam. Looks like a nice fruit beer. In the nose it is an attack of citrus gone the sweet side. Guava and other tropical fruits with what seems like Belgian candy sugar, and a bit of yeast. Pretty sweet fruity flavours with concentrated passion fruit juice coming through, and there’s some slight tart grapefruit nuances as well, but this one is mainly about the sugar attack. The ladies seemed to like it, but I did not.

Slightly hazy golden in colour. Insanely huge head that continues to grow for quite a few minutes even after a cautious pour, great lacing, lots of visible carbonation. The aroma is quite sweet, very sugary, light sour note, wheaty, citrus and bananas. The flavour is very sweet, cloying, not much malt or hop profiles, some light citrus. Moderatly bitter mouthfeel, medium/light body, high carbonation. Finishes lingering, very sweet. The appearance and the aroma made me believe that this beer was infected but I found no signs of this in the flavour. Way too sweet.

650ml bottle from the LCBO in Ottawa, Ontario .
Purchased on March 11, 2007 for $4.95 and opened on March 15, 2007
No best before date, LOT A297.
