vanrassel (23), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Jun 16, 2008 The towering white head and gold body made for an attractive look. The aroma and taste were both coloured by some grassy hops and yeasty, white bread qualities. I thought I was crazy sensing some green apple until I saw the same thing mentioned in a couple of other ratings. Overall, I thought this beer lacked cohesiveness and was a little all over the map. markas101 (346), Fargo, North Dakota, USA May 21, 2008 341 ml stubby, Mulmur. Surprising hoppy flavor, long dry finish. Very nice. BytownJon (19), Ontario, Canada May 11, 2008 Pint on tap at The Pelican Grill in Ottawa. No head but small amt. of lacing when reached the table. Acidic citrus aroma. Overall a "light" dark, with medium-light body. ILduce (90), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Apr 17, 2008 Stubby: Golden almost copper colour. Hoppy, floral nose with grassy notes. Somewhat herbal with faint malt flavour...white bread. Medium-bodied but unbalanced with a bitter almost sour? aftertaste. BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Mar 6, 2008 From the stubby bottle this beer is golden with a light quick fading head. Aroma is white bread with a touch of earthy hops. Sweeter on the palate but decent richness. Not a bad lager.
