Very clean copper coloured lager with fresh bready malt character. Finishes a little quickly.

Clear apple juice with small white foamy head. Aroma is light floral, apple. Taste is light malty up top, finishing with a rather bitter aftertaste (grassy/light floral). I'm not sure why, but I found the aftertaste's bitterness unpleasant. Light body.

A golden lager with a thin white head. A very biscuitty malt aroma with fruity notes, and honey. In mouth, a good biscuitty malt, grainy mash tun, with nice English hops. A bit thin but overall pleasant. Bottle from LCBO Kanata.

Never got around to rating this local beer. but had it many times. Golden lager with a nice thick white head. Sweet hoppy floral aroma, and fresh malts. Very clean malt in taste with atypical floral hoppiness (though typical for Heritage), a light citrus qualities. Reminds of Cerna Hora at L’Amère a Boire.

(Cold) hazy yellow with orangey shine; fluffy snow-white head. Very grassy, bit mouldy, not unlike German "feinherb". Dull initial pilsner taste, grainy, little bit toasted, summergrain. Aftertaste gets some hopcharacter. Slick, grist-like MF; the toasted taste nonobstinating, rather refreshing. Reasonable pilsner.

The Lure:
Grassy hops protrude from the yeasty haystack. Cidery hints and sulphur suggestions peek over the transparent golden yellow surface.

The Festivities:
Lingering grassy, resinous hop bitterness plays heartily with the earthy yeast. The haystack still looks on from not too far away, as does a rusty, wheel-less car. Light, refreshing, but full of distressing watery interludes.

Transcendence:
A competent macro replacement, but nowhere near a good pils replacement.

The stubby is the selling point. Crisp clean beer, with a bit of bitterness to it. It takes a better lager than this to make me reach for a lager rather than an ale.

Nice hoppy aroma. White head, gold looking beer. Very hoppy for a lager. Refreshing, flavorful...

draught. At 2006 Toronto Festival of Beer. Pale clear yellow, flat-looking, huge frothy white head. PL aroma - generic sweetish grain, dead hops; PL taste of same, a little sour on warming, not all that vegetal; thin, watery mouthfeel, pretty flat, quick diminish, very slight vague "off" aftertaste. Won’t scare Joe Sixpack, but I won’t bother again, at most it’s boring.

341 ml stubby bottle. See-through golden blond with a modicum of creamy white thin-looking head...fresh, sweet grass and a surprising amount of hoppiness in the nose...solid, full body, moderate herb-flecked hoppiness throughout, a touch of honey and a lovely bitter/dry herbal finish. Top-notch for style; thanks Luc!

[203-20070209] 341mL. Light grape aroma with yeast and slightly toasted nuts. Thick yellow body. Tastes like slightly warmed yeasty bread. Light-medium body. Comes together nicely.
