thewolf (8652) - Kolding, DENMARK - NOV 9, 2011
Bottle, bought @ Achelse Kluis, Belgium.
Slight hazy pale yellow with a small, staying, creamy, white head. Aroma is fruity, green apple, some melon, esters, crispy doughy malts. Oranges, light vinious. Quite pleasant, really. Highish carbonation, okay dry and light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is light metallic at first, soft sweetness, apple peel, oranges. Very dry and bitter for a Belgian tripel. I like it.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, pale golden colour with a blond, dense and tall foamy head. Yeasty malty, slightly wheaty aroma with a citric vinous touch and spicy notes. Moderately sweet and bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Yeasty and spicy taste with notes of citrus; sweet-bitter malty finish with citrus/lemon and a tinge of alcohol. 13.III.11

pivnizub (7239) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - FEB 3, 2012
Bottle: A bit hazy, mid-sized off-white lacy head, orangey-fruity and barrique-like vinous aromas; moderately sweet and slightly sourish flavour, medium to full bodied, traces of alcohol in the solid sweet-bitter finish, the "woody" qualities show up again in the aftertaste. Hard to describe, but still pleasant…

JorisPPattyn (6730) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - NOV 18, 2009
Very dense & fine, light-yellow head over metallic-yellow beer. Dry-spicy, loam; lightly toasted malts, very discreet. Very dry-bitter flavour, strange vegetable bitterness, like celeriac, but less sweet. Again - loam. Well-attenuated, medium bodied, spritzy-burning at swallowing. Very special taste... but far from bad.
