Pours a clear and effervescent light copper color, topped by a good inch of bubbly, cream colored foam. Decent lacing. Lightly fruity malt and with a tangy hop presence in the aroma.
Nice crisp and clean dry toasted malt flavor, with a little fruit and a spicy tangy hop bite. The fruit disappears, but the malt and hops are plentiful all the way to the finish. Body on the light side of medium, carbonation is quite lively.

Pours clear copper with an off-white creamy head. Moderate sweet malt aroma, hint of caramel. Pronounced malt flavor. Medium body, almost creamy. No noticeable hop flavor. This is a good beer.

Large creamy off-white, maybe tan, head with excellent lacing, copper colored.... falvor long in duration, thin texture, balanced taste of sweet and hops near the end, mild fruit aromas.. at Herkimer Pub & Brewey... not nearly as hoppy as the description indicates
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Dickinsonbeer (5075) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUL 3, 2007
This one is not bad for an alt. Pours a light copper clear and good off white head retention. Hoppy noble hop aroma , a bit grassy, and some light toasty malts and hints of caramel. Crisp clean hoppy flavor, solid malt backbone- and a nice crisp spicy and herbal hop finish. Definitely on the hoppy side even for an alt, but nice.

Has a sweet scent of caramel, has similar toffee and malty tastes. Pretty smooth and easy to drink.

Floral and malt aromas. Golden coloured a little rich on the palate and fruity with a crisp and slightly dry malt finish.

Dark copper color with a thin head. A little malt in the aroma, but not much. Woody taste with a little smoke as well. A little malt, but very mild. Tasty enough, but I don’t think it’d be a great example of an Alt.

The best of the four I tried in one night. Light malt and hop aroma. Mild, pleasant grain in the flavor with a a nice malt and hop balance. Medium body. Roasted grain finish.

Alt’s Always Throw me off....I’ve Had a Few and They Rarely Taste Like the Last one I’ve Had... They DO Generally Seem to Be a Pretty Even Kilter Brew... This one Wasn’t Bursting With Flavor.. Perhaps a Pinch Woody.. With Some Malts...But Very Subtle....Almost Reminds me of Bitters...As They Are Very Subdued... But Alts Seem to Have a Few More Things Going On, Just Very Hard to Detract These Mysterious Flavors... Decent Brew
