hellomynameis (743), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Jul 17, 2007 Very clear blonde colour with a fairly small head that was really just a coating on top. The aroma was kind of wheat with some lactic funk. It is very clean if that makes sense. Light on the palate and carbonation. The flavor is faint but it is there. There isn’t a whole lot in the begining but the tart flavors quickly come out. There is a sour candy like sweetness to this with a dry sour finish. It isn’t the best example of the style but I sure do applaud them dfor doing it. tytoanderso (1201), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA Jul 10, 2007 Draft at the brewpub. Poured into a chalice that must have weighed at least a pound. Hazy light gold with almost no head. A hint of maritime saltiness on the nose with a bit of lacto funk... but not too overpowering. Some woody dryness and lemon zest sourness. Rich and creamy body with nice acidity and a decent amount of carbonation. Flavor was creamy, citrusy and acidic. Quite dry. Hints of granny smith apples with a bit of sweet malt. Very refreshing and thirst quenching. Sour, but not overly so. Kind of a lactose creamy sour. Finishes crisp and dry.
