3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 ChrisPants (317) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 15, 2005
Slightly above-average lager. Light golden color, crisp and light without being watery. Pleasant, and I’d try it again.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 thomasacross (129) - Edina, Minnesota, USA - JUN 23, 2007
Draft. Aroma and flavor of bread and minerals. Fizzy with minimal head. Absolutely no bitterness whatsoever. Enjoyable pale lager -- but loses points for a sickly pee-yellow/almost green color. Does not look very appetizing!
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Dickinsonbeer (5075) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUL 3, 2007
Pours an incedibly light gold almsot like a coors or miller light with a thin white head. Aroma is moslty fresh pils malt with touches of corn or at least osme DMS but mostly clean with a touch of hops. Mostly a very bland pils malt flavor with mayb ehints of corn but othersie there is hardly any dms in the flavor and otherwise is pretty clean and easy drinking. Not bad ofr a light lager.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 badgerben (4116) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - NOV 11, 2004
Gold color. A little grainy aroma and taste. If this was in a can, it’d be a great lawnmower beer. Nothing special, but non-offensive.

Light Gold Coloring. Smells of Grain. Wow...Nuffield throws a Strike on the Cardboard Box Idea.. Some Saaz Here, Grain... Actually a bit Sweet. Definitly a Swill Beer, but Not the Worst Swill Out There.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 beermatrix (1497) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - SEP 20, 2003
Very light pale yellow in color, thin stark white head, no lacing. Smell is lightly malted sweetness and floral hops. Taste is pale sweet malts, light breadish quality and small floral/citrusy hops nudge their way in past the sweetness. Light but substantially lasting and steady in its feel, fairly drinkable but primarily dull and boring.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 BückDich (5467) - McCall, Idaho, USA - OCT 5, 2007
Draft @ Brewpub: Clear yellow, light head, nice lacing. Nose of light sweet malt, clean yeast and toast and sawdust. The flavor is dry, nice toast and malt, good/clean.

Tap @ brewpub. Golden yellow color with a dry sparkling light malt flavor. Musty aroma and flavor.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Pigfoot (2267) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - AUG 23, 2005
I walked into the Herkimer, sat at the bar, and caught the attention of the barman. He rattled off the names of the house beers, myself not noticing the chalkboard, and I decided to take a stab at the one he called "blonde." Later, I noticed there was nothing called "blonde" on the board. "Oh, that’s the lager", he tells me. Okay. "Handy’s", reads the chalk, "American lager."
The coaster is more forthcoming. "American premium lager, light and crisp with little or no bitterness and a light malty finish. Color: straw, IBU: 13, Starting Plato: 11.2, Alcohol: 4.1%"
Comes in a German-style altbier glass, definitely not a 16 ounce pint, though I paid the equivalent.
Clear, pale yellow color, plumb head dies quick, but leaves lace. Very considerate.
Sweetish nose, hints of honey, lightly fruity. Not insufferable.
Clean and smooth, with a distinct grainy grit rising up after the first taste. Lands sweet on the front of the tongue and dries off on the way out. Very light in body, easy to drink, but apart from the aforementioned grainy texture, offer little reward in the drinking, scant flavor, wet and hollow.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Skyview (4880) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - AUG 30, 2009
On draught at the brewpub in uptown Minneapolis, Minnesota. Pours a clear golden colored brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that dissipates to a thin ring and minimal lacing. Aroma of golden grain malt, a hint of creamed corn, a hint of grassy hops and some light butter. Taste is light bodied, some carbonation with flavors of golden grain malt, sharp grassy hops and some crystal hops. Finish is slightly dry and then a crisp finish with no bitter aftertaste. An average light lager close to the macro beer without the heavy advertising.
