0,33 l green bottle with blue label. Bright straw yellow liquid with dissapatng white head. Well balanced sweetness and bitterness - both low. Medium carbonation - a bit of acidity in there. Altogether unexciting.

330ml can. Sweet grain and malt, with a hint of caramel. A lot better than the pilsner they made some years ago, but not outstanding in any way.

Can. Pours light yellow, with a finger thick creamy head. Not much of an aroma, and what little there is does not stand out from any other Norwegian macro. Flavour is on the sweet side with a whiff of honey, and with some lightly spicy hops to finish it off.

Palme (1437) - Bergen, NORWAY - JAN 2, 2012
0.5l can popped at the first beer @ New Years Eve. Pours a crystal clear golden body with a medium sized bubbly lager-head that’s fading quite rapidly. Low and "lagery" aroma. Both pale malts and dusty hops in the aroma. Hints of cardboard. Quite standard actually. Totally normal carbonation level and a mild watery mouthfeel. Taste like a lager should. Mild malty with watery hops. Nice enough as a lager but perhaps a bit boring.

Pours a snow white head. Golden in color. Ok bitterness. After the change in the recipe and more controlled conditions, it’s a lot better than now. All in all it’s a decent "mass produced" lager.

A bitter-sweet fruity taste and finish. It sports a hoppy and malty nose. Colour is clear golden/yellow, white head. (Can)

Can from Meny Grønland Torg. Pale lager body, nondescript tiny white head. Light and sweet pale malty tones, dusty hops in the nose. Tastes pretty standard pale lager; pale malts, dusty hops and some sweet malty tones. Nothing wrong here, just plain and boring.

Can @ home. Pours golden with white head. Some hops on the nose and palate, not alot but some. A somewhat weak maltbase to back it up. However - it tastes better now than before due to changed recipie. Tastes like a mass produced euro macro lager (say that three times fast). No aftertaste.

Can. Golden body, white top. You’ve seen it before. Light aroma of malt and metal, some fruit notes in taste dominated by grain. Nothing special, and it lost head to head against Grusomme pilsner.

Can. Golden clear, white head. Aroma of spice, malts, yeast and flowers. Taste is light malted with almost no sweetness, very dry! Finish is totally dry with alot of spiced hop bitterness. Some soap tendensies too
