asheft (726), Marburg, Germany Oct 20, 2007 [bottle]
Sort of standard German pils aroma: fresh noble hops. Perhaps a note of honey. Almost clear brown-amber with a ginger ale-like fizziness that created a lasting bubbly white cover. Very strong hops flavour accentuated by a not quite crisp maltiness. This beer is not very bitter, but it is fairly dry, and so does not have a lot of residual sweetness that may need offsetting bitterness. Medium body, moderate carbonation, clean finish. Very nice and only vague honey charasteristics.
