COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Craft brewed in small batches with tons of hops. This will make you silly with hOppiness, like the jester on the bottle. The hop types remain a secret, but wouldnít you expect that from a hermit?

Pour is a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is plenty of pine hops with a sweet oily malt. Flavor is an ok hop profile with a lot of sweet chewy malts to back it up. Full sweet, sticky malts left after the swallow. No date on the bottle but deffinatly has some age on it. Itís ok but fresher is always better.

On tap at Tied House poured a clear gold with a small lasting ivory head. Aromas of biscuit, cat piss, earthiness, grapefruit and pine. Palte was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, grapefruit and pine with a crisp dry bitter lingering earthy finish.

Murky deep amber with a thick very white head. The nose is extremely hoppy but the first taste is more mellow with some sweetness to balance it. Long bitter finish.

Thanks to my son for sending this from Beer on the Wall. Out of the bottle and cold the first couple sips curled my eyebrows. After it had warmed and breathed a little it really opened up. Itís 8% - right up my alley. Good blend of malt, hops - very sprucy. Good head and lacing. I would get this again - depending on the price.

Thanks to ericandersnavy for sharing this bottle. The beer pours a golden orange color with a white head. The aroma is very hoppy, with a ton of pineapple, grass and other citrus notes. The flavor confirms that this is a hop bomb. There is a ton of bitter pineapple and papaya notes, with some grass and a hint of bread. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

UPDATED: JAN 24, 2014 Ack. Not much to say here. Aroma and taste have weak hops notes, no real balance, no citrus, no pine, no anything worth remembering (04/2012). Rerated 12/12. Pours clear light amber, medium white head, nice lacing. Aroma is citrus, floral. Flavor is the same, bit of resin, little sweet, medium bitter. Light to medium body. Getting better, still harsh

0.5l - Nose of yeast. Seltzer feel and chalky but pleasant bitter finish remind me of a Belgian.

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Amber pour with very little head. Nose of buttered bread, herbal hops, and spices. Flavors of cracker and bread with a decent hop bite.

A pretty spicy imperial ipa. Had a very big bite to it. Feel like the malts could have been a bit more smoothed out. I did like the hopping. Felt really raw and classic.

Pint (+) bottle from Hayduke. We enjoyed it together via facebook chat. Ronís brother Rick joined in late and was hilarious. This beer pours hazy and ginger color with a big fluffy head that is light tan. A darker blob of foam formed and stayed until the last sip. The aroma is big citrus and caramel. The first sip is caramel sweetness but that soon changes to huge citrus bitterness. That bitterness grabs you by the throat and does not let go. Each sip is like this and the bitterness actually builds. Grapefruit tart citrus that is bitter as can be. This IIPA comes right at you and stays in your face. There is nothing subtle or really complex here. If there is complexity the bitterness hides it. Good stuff.
