3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz bottle. Amber orange color with a small slightly off white head. Aroma of flowers, rich pine and strong citrus. Unsurprising, for a DIPA, but still nice. Flavor is strongly bitter. Strong pine and grapefruit notes. Nice, sure. Very bitter. Some pine, some lemon. Full bodied, heavier carbonation. This is nice, especially in the finish where it is quite bitter. Nice, finishes long a bitter.

Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel and light bread, light -some tropical fruitiness, light - some grapefruit/piney hoppyness, faint alcohol. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish - sweetish, light - some caramel and faint bread, light tropical fruitiness, some pineygrapefruit hoppyness, light - some alcohol. Caramel sweetish and bready DIPA - could use more fruitiness and bitterness to balance 8% alcohol. Nothing really special.

Bright clear gold beer, good white head. Palate is light, semi dry and a mild fine crispness. Light malts, touch of lactose - cream sweetness. Hops are a nice combo of cooling pine, almost minty, hop spice, ripe tropical fruits. Light semi dry finish. Nicely joined up.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Not quite right, this is full of hops, and built on quite a big malt build, but the finish is very harsh , and not just hop bitterness,

On tap at Scratch in Mountain View, CA. Aroma is very light citrus, hops. Taste is very mild, almost watery with mild bitterness. Extremely disappointing for a DIPA. Not much flavor or character here.
