Aroma falls flat, I can smell the hops but for a double IPA, it is pretty weak. Taste is more like a soda than an IPA. Drinkable but not a good example of the style ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Scratch in Mountain View, CA. Aroma is very light citrus, hops. Taste is very mild, almost watery with mild bitterness. Extremely disappointing for a DIPA. Not much flavor or character here.

12 oz. bottle. It pours a nice clear gold color with a big white head. The aroma is very sweet with lots of candied caramel and toffee. A little fruit and florals underneath. The flavor is a little better with some strong floral/piney flavor and more sweet caramel toffee malts. The finish is very bitter with more pine. Nothing seriously off, just a lot of sweet crystal flavor. This would have passed for a good version of the style seven or eight years ago. Today, it’s just meh.

Tasted during RBWG post-grand tasting shit-show hotel-tasting. Hazy golden orange amber color. Thin off-white head. Medium to bigger body. Kind of slick texture. Lighter carbonation. Caramel malt. Some citrusy resiny hop, more malt though. Moderate to bigger sweet, light bitter. Mild heat. OK, malty sweet DIPA.
