2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. Orange pour with a white head. The aroma is very sweet with a lot of bubblegum character. The flavor is also very sweet, with a lot of candied orange notes and sugar. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
If a beer is going to be brewed with one hop variety, I would choose citra. Amber colored with a thick off white head. Grapefruit on the nose with a tart citrus flavor.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Amber body. Off-white head. Aroma of raw, leafy hops, lemon, orange, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation. Expected this to be brighter since it features citra. Hints of citrus, lemon, orange, but a bit muddled with caramel flavor from the malts that are also a little grainy.

Pour is dark copper with good haze. Thin white head. Nose is faint and somewhat sweet. Taste is nice and piny with notes of mango an citrus rind. Mouthfeel is medium. Pretty good. First foray into citra hops.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, thanks to bird_machine, 04/06/2013. Pours ruby caramel, thin white head, dense sudsy lacing. Aroma is tangerine, peach, sweet tropical notes, piney edge, doughy malts. Taste is light citrus, heavy bitter pine, dark caramel malts a bit rough. Medium palate. Alright, this one.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy orange color with a tall very creamy, light tan/green head. Aroma is very strong orange citrus and a lot pine hops presence. Flavor is pretty watery with a strong bitterness but more grassy with a touch of citrus. Great lacing on the glass, very watery feeling with a light dry and bitter kick. Overall, it’s the definition of a "meh" beer. I was expecting a great citrus nose/flavor combo but there wasn’t enough malt backbone to hold the flavor. Body ruined the brew and made it a definite disappointment.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
An interesting beer- good to taste a single hop’s character, but I usually prefer more of a medley. Pours a beautiful golden yellow brown, however.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 oz bomber. Pours dark amber with slight head. Super hoppy with all of the expected citrus notes. Pineapple, peach, lemon, and grapefruit are all in there. In comparison to other IPAs that have used CItra, it’s a lot less balanced. That notwithstanding, a very nice IPA.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Amber pour. Caramel malt and candied citrus in the nose, doesn’t smell fresh yet I haven’t seen it before on the shelves in IL. Flavor is again caramel candy, low bitterness, floral hops. Seems to lack most citra character. My guess is it is both a bit old and their hop addition times and quantities just sucked.
