22 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy reddish-orange amber color. Large, rocky off white pour. Aroma of strong lemon and tropical fruit notes. Bits of sugar cookie and oxidation. Flavor is fruity and bitter. Lots of tropical fruit notes. Mild sweet malt. Nice carbonation. Finishes long and bitter.

A- pours a rich amber with a thin white head that dissipates quickly and clings to the glass. No retention and great lacing. S- hops! Lemon, pine resin, caramel malts, floral, barley, light clover honey. Some grass and soap. Grapefruit is mild. M- medium tacky body with a medium resin palate. Decent carbonation with a light burn. T- pine, malts, and some citrus at first. Some vegetal quality with more citrus on the middle. Ending has legs with soap and grass that gives way to malty aftertaste. Fairly linear and expected but great after a hot day at the beach in Santa Cruz.

1/10/2014. 22 oz., bottle. Amber color with a white head. Happy to get out of the bottle. Caramel and malty aromas with fruit and especially citrus. Flavors are less bitter than expected, but there are hops on the finish.

On tap beer market bbrook. Strong citrus aroma. Taste is hoppy with a lot of juicy fruit flavor. Sweet malt. Almost annoyingly sweet. Decent but there are a lot better IPAs out there

Pours a dark gold/orage color. A small white head that sticks around with a lot of lacing on the glass. Smell of grapefruit and some caramel malts. Not exactly what I was expecting from a citra ipa. Too heavy on the malt although there is a nice grapefruit rind finish. A little bit stickier than normal. Good carbonation levels. Not a horrible beer, but not good either and really expected a lot more from a citra beer especially after having the gloriousness that is Zombie Dust.

Tasty and solid. Maybe I am an odd fan of citra hops. But other than that, do not count one me being the one that poetically describes this to a T. I wish I had another and feel guilty for not sharing already.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. Orange pour with a white head. The aroma is very sweet with a lot of bubblegum character. The flavor is also very sweet, with a lot of candied orange notes and sugar. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

If a beer is going to be brewed with one hop variety, I would choose citra. Amber colored with a thick off white head. Grapefruit on the nose with a tart citrus flavor.
