Really like this. A clean and fresh IPA. Tons of hops. Crisp and clean. Pours amber brown with little carbonation but a really nice drinking brew.

For an IPA, not too bad. Best of their series. Decent pour, orange color. Not much smell at all. Hoppy taste, with a little bit of an aftertaste. Wont have again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22oz bottle from Bevmo
Appearance: Pours slightly hazy deep golden with a medium size head and good lacing
Aroma: Floral and sweet toffee
Taste: Fruity, sweet dusty caramel, sweet and floral in the finish
Doesn’t highlight Nelson Sauvin hops. Another Hermitage fail, I guess it’s about time to stop trying this brewery.

Poured from the bomber into a snifter. Cloudy orange in color with a tan head. Aroma is caramel malt with some herbal and floral hop notes. Flavor is caramel malt base with very herbal and lightly citrusy hop notes. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel and a long finish. This hop definitely creates a strongly herbal flavor and is not for everyone. I wasn’t a huge fan of this hop by itself, but I can definitely see it working well in combination with other hops.

Another of the Hermitage Single Hop series. Similar in color and appearance to the others with a slightly hazy orangish/amber and a white head. Initially strong aromas of grapefruit and tropical fruit as well as a slight vineous grape component. As it warmed, this became a much more vegetal aroma that was like a field of ripe veges. The flavor carried components of all of these along with a sharp but not overpowering earthy bitterness. As the others in this series, the malt balances well to provide a good platform for the hops without getting in the way. Finishes with a fullness and lasting bitterness. Another delicious and interesting addition to this series, keep ’em coming!

Pour out of 22 oz bottle, thanks to Aaron for the pour. hazy orange with nice white head, aroma brought notes of slight caramel and biscuit, hints of spice, grapefruit and orange, slight lemon as well. Taste is a mix of sweet orange, grapefruit, hints of caramel and toffee, touch of spice, finishing fairly sweet.

Bottle @ home. Hazy, reddish orange appearance with an off white head. Not very fresh, light citrusy hoppy, toasty, light caramel malty, bready aroma. Decent grapefruit, orange citrusy, honey, toasty, bready malty flavor. Probably would have been a little better fresh.

hazy tea-orange, thin small bubbled cream ring. Plant-like nose, very rooty with super-dank notes. Flavor is very bitter, paper, glue and light caramel malts, thin and sticky body with low but acceptable carbonation.

651mL thanks to beerandblues2. Yes, a typical "red" IPA with way too much specialty malt including crystal malt. Stale, cheesy hop nose. Way too dark of SRM for style. Nose brings out odd black pepper along with cheesecloth. Taste is malty, super thick, loads of maple and resin bitterness. Fits the perfect profile of IPAs that I dislike. Nelson character is gone and overrun by specialty malt madness.

Bottle. Pours lightly hazy amber with a small, fizzy white head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is citrus, pine, and resin hops, fruity esters, biscuit and honey malt. Flavor is heavy hops and bitterness, supporting malt and a dry finish. Medium body, warmth, and carbonation.

Super sticky sweet crystal malt bomb of a monstrosity of an ipa. Massive ice tea. Were there hops here?
