POurs clear dark copper with a creamy/bubbly 3 finger beige head. Aroma is sort of cat pee/evergreen. Med+ body. Nice malt backbone wholly submerged by rough grapefruit rind. Nice bitter, hoppy drink. Mellow in a harsh way.

Bomber poured a clear orange amber with a lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness, citrus and light pine. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, earthiness, light grapefruit and a hint of pine with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours with a hazy, orange hued body with a small and fading off-white head. Some lace left behind, but not much. Aromas are tropical fruit, lightly herbal hop qualities, a bit of rotten orange (not how Citra normally is for me). A bit of a urine quality. Estery. Malt profile comes across as a bit sticky, caramel and toffee like. Flavors are pappery, grainy, bitter, medium astringency. Malt seems slightly oxidized, but the hops are still there (hot side aeration? crappy malt (heard that a recent batch of Canadian 2-row is off)). Hops are kind of faint, fruity. Bitter balance. Dry, earthy, soil, metallic quality. Lively bubbles, dry. Soapy. I donít know why I keep buying from theses guys.

Amber pour. Caramel malt and candied citrus in the nose, doesnít smell fresh yet I havenít seen it before on the shelves in IL. Flavor is again caramel candy, low bitterness, floral hops. Seems to lack most citra character. My guess is it is both a bit old and their hop addition times and quantities just sucked.

Bomber pours clear copper with off white head. The aroma offers up grapefruit, resiny bitter hops, a touch of acidity, sweeter malt notes, orange juice and orange peel. The taste is much the same with grapefruit, tangelo and orange like citrus hop notes mixing with lighter sweet malts flavors in the background. At times the hops get fairly bitter and the resininess helps to create a somewhat dry finish.

Bottle. Rich amber beer with a dark cream colored head. Grapefruit and summer fruit aroma with grapefruit rind. Grapefruit and summer fruit flavor with malt. Medium bodied. Nice bitterness. Grapefruit and summer fruit lingers.

22 oz. bottle from deftim13- thanks, Tim! Pours a somewhat cloudy amber-tinted orange with a small white film for a head. Explosive aroma of orange, tropical fruits, herbs, sweaty socks, sweet malts, and wet grass. Flavor of rain water, soggy cereal, citrus fruits, peaches, sweet malts, and an off-putting note that tastes like a wet dog smells. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry finish. The flavor isnít necessarily bad, but presents a lot of odd notes that donít match the aroma at all.

Bottle from BevMo Arden. Pours copper with a rich beige head and a citrus aroma. There is a decent caramel malt base with an extreme piny hop bitterness. Not well-balanced, but pretty drinkable.
