Oct 22, 2008 (bottle) pours the blackest ruby colour with a fluffy tanned head. aroma is a wonderful balance of roasted malts, dark fruits, chocolate and caramel. flavour is dominantly roasted malts, with a touch of coffee, liquorice and chocolate. medium carbonation and body with a roasted-bitter finish.

Aug 26, 2008 Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Deep dark brown color, almost black. Roasted aroma with cream and dark chocolate. Roasted flavor with apple syrup and a hint of dark chocolate. Medium to full bodied. Good beer!

Aug 4, 2008 Updated: May 2, 2009At the tasting session by Joes. A clear dark amber colored beer, with a light beige head. An aroma of chocolate, coffee, toffee and burned malts. The taste of roasted malts with chocolate coffee. It’s bitter sweet. The after taste is a little bitter. A good beer.
