12 degrees Plato. Brewed in the classic Bavarian style, no longer common among Czech brewers. We use local wheat and pilsner malts, Saaz hops, yeast bartered from a small Bavarian brewery, and well water to brew a unique sample of Bohemian wheat. The beer is lagered for 50 days, and bottled without filtration.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A mostly clear one, golden in color and with a dense, off-white head. Banana on the nose, some cloves and a touch of hops. Not much maltyness. The flavor is even more pleasant, with banana, cloves and a lemony touch blended nicely together with the bitterness. Medium body, nicely carbonated. Pleasant sweetness too, and a finish with banana, cloves, lemon, and wheat. Bitterness too. Definitely a nice one, tasteful and easy drinking. 110129

Bottled (Alko, BB 06/2011)
Murky honey-amber color, small white head. Sticky yeasty overriped banana aroma. Crisp carbonation. A bit thinnish, watery palate. Mouthfeel is hard, almost metallic. Sticky harsh maltyness in the flavor, some overriped banana and hints of lemony hops. As a lager, clearly lack complexity and fryuityness of "real" hefeweizens. Beats Finnish wheat lagers anyway.
