0.5L bottle bought @Pivoňka, Hradec Králové. Brilliant pilsner golden body. Dense, shiny white head. Crisp pale malts, grassy hops, and a faint acidic-sweet fruit tone on the nose. Taste is on the bitter side of bitter-sweet. Medium malt body, clean and grainy. Feels full and quite oily in the mouth. Mild bitterness linger in the finish. A rock solid Bohemian Pilsner.

draft. unfiltered. mild skunky must, armpit oil / bacteria and yeast-heavy buttered nose. prickly acid and rough malt with equally rough carb don’t present the beer well at all. tart weizen-like yeast presence is very neutralizing, and the fizzy and thin body combined with rough malt texture are unpleasant. lacks refinement and is brash even in small amounts.

Deep-golden, clear beer with small white head. Dough, milkripe grains’ nose, even some chaff; ending on H˛S-like sulphur notes. Dry, quite hoppy, with a point of sulphur (especially retronasal), that is not offf-putting anymore. Dry malts and obviously good hops. Light body, undercarbonated. Pretty decent Czech Pilsner; pity about the overdose of sulphur in the nose. Many thanks to Honza!

Flaske 0,33l fra Alko Muonio. Fortćrt hjemme 28 Mai 11. Lys gylden. OK luftig skum. Maltaroma med parfymerte undertoner. Smaken “lett”. Litt metall, litt frukt. Tillřp til smřrsmak.

500ml bottle. Pours gold with a large, frothy head. Aroma is buttered toast with grass underneath. Taste is grassy and buttery. Some toast, also. Slick mouthfeel.

Bottle from Alko in Pello, rating number 1300. Nothing special with this one, but is was it was refreshing in the hot Sauna. Malt, butter, hay and some notes of metal. Not that bitter.

Bottle 33 cl, Alko, Stockmann, Tampere. Pours clear golden with a frothy off white head leaving nice lacing. Aroma is grainy, fruity, hay, malty, hoppy and sweet. Crispy acidy mouthfeel. Flavor is sweet, fruity, malty, bitter hoppy with a slight touch of perry at the end. Finishes sweet fruity with a great longlived bitter aftertaste. Excellent pilsner.
