330 ml bottle. Pale golden yellow colour, thin white head. Bread-like malty and hoppy aroma. The flavour is sweetish and grainy malty, with a herbal hoppy finish. Nothing special.

33cl bottle. Poured golden color with a thin white head, some lacing. Sweet grainy aroma. Flavor is sweet malt, hops and alcohol in finish. Metal also in flavor. sticky palate. Quite a disappointment

Pours a golden colour witha small foamy head and loads of visible bubbles. Aroma of grainy malts and honey. Flavour of sweet grainy malts, mild herbs, grassy hops and honey. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation and a dry, Saaz hoppy finish. Average Bohemian Pilsener.

UPDATED: OCT 2, 2011 Bottle (500ml) - Pours a clear sort of orange/amber colour with a smallish white head that disappears rather quickly & leaves a thin lacing. The colour is nice but head retention is rather poor. It smells kind of watery and much like your typical pale lager with grain & bread featuring. It is quite bland smelling though. The taste consists mainly on bread, corn and a little grain with a tangy, citrus like aftertaste that is followed up by a bitter finish. Not to my likely, with the tangy flavour a little off putting & not to my liking. This one is very light on the palate & quite watery overall. It is smooth but other than that it doesn’t have much going for it. The stange, rather tangy aftertaste ruins this beer completely for me. Excellent Czech lager, nice dry taste with strong Saaz hop taste and clean aftertaste,. this really is a cut above other Czech beers
