Bottle from Kaufland. Great pale lager though I liked the dark one Herold much more. Still one of the best pale lagers I had. Medium bitterness, not very hoppy (which I am grateful for). I love Herold..

17th January 2008 A rich bready and malty lager with a noticeable sweet note in the finish. Initially nothing unusual but it’s a real grower.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 prawlie (474) - Berkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 4, 2011
500 mL bottle poured into a pint glass. Darkish lager with a minium of head. Tastes a little metallic. A ’standard’ Czech lager, and doesn’t taste of much. There’s hardly an aroma to speak of.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 sm89walt (1344) - Norwich, Norfolk, ENGLAND - DEC 10, 2010
500ml bottle. Pours with a large & fairly dense white head with good retention and a soapy lacing; a very effervescent & bright dark yellow body. Lovely saaz all over this. Lemony, floral hops combine with yeasty, fruity notes on the aroma. Grassy bitter hops with a lemon edge on the palate, light grain backdrop with a decent length finish from those crisp saaz. Light and refreshing body, quite full in terms of carbonation finishing rather dry.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Grovlam (4106) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 11, 2010
50 cl. Bottle. Average fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework golden color. Aroma of mash, floral, light citrus. Over the palate came light hoppy notes with mild light toasted malt. Light - medium bodied, average carbonation, light dry texture. Medium bitter and sweet flaver. Light dry bitter finish.

Fresh aroma, quite herbal. Quite a low carbonation gives a smooth mouthfeel. A flavoursome beer that is not too sweet or gassy.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 ogivlado (4275) - Zagreb, CROATIA - JUL 6, 2010
Bottled 500ml. -as Herold Bohemian Blond Lager. Darker golden coloured, medium sized white head, touch of herbs in the nose. Sweetish malty, mild hoppy and grainy with touch of spices and meat. Rather boring Dvanactka, and to be honest expected better beer. Overrated.

0,5 l bottle. Labeled as Herold Svetly Breznicky Lezak. ABV 5,2 %. Pours clear golden with a big white head. Nice hoppy aroma. Taste is on the sweeter side, with a good malty base , leaning on nice grassy hops.High carbonation. Good beer.
