An unexpected Ryanair fuck over and a night at the Delirium Cafe in Brussels. A boring Pilsner with some nice German hops, switched to better beers.

Presented unexpectedly by guests from Hannover. Pours gold from the bottle with a finger thick white crown that subsides to whispy lacing. The not overly strong aroma has herbal and floral notes. The taste is characterized by a steady dry bitterness that is nicely balanced by a subtle fruitiness at the finish, something in the direction of sour apple. Medium bodied, crisp, quite refreshing. A good beer for the style.

Golden color but minimal head. Neither much taste or aroma. Some light bitterness in the middle but this is gone directly. Flat beer without any specialities. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0.5l bottle from galeria kaufhof at hanover train st., 0.99€. pours a clear pale golden with a medium white head and some lacing. aroma of grassy, slightly sulfuric hops. flavour of bread, grass, soapy and sulfuric aftertaste. oily mouthfeel. fresh hops are present, yes, but still not my cup of pils.

0,5 l bottle. Dark golden in the glass, more than one finger steady foamy white head. Grainy nose with some hop bitterness. Taste is more malty, some sweetness, hop bitterness in the second row. Grassy with mid bitterness in the aftertaste. Okay.

Steinie bottle 33cl. Clear medium golden color, average frothy white head, mostly diminishing, fair lacing; aroma light malty, grass, hint of lemon, soapy; taste moderate sweet and bitter; medium body, oily to watery texture, soft carbonation, mild dry bittersweet finish; overall an average pilsner.

Brigth, pale, yelloish color, with a decent head. Decent, herbal hop flavors, with straw, wheat and grass. Convenient herbal hop bitterness, with soapie, slick yeast and sunny, slightly spicy wheat flavor, balanced by bready, white-bread malts. Has a light body, fitting for a Pils, with high carbonation,a short glance of hop bitterness, which then gets covered by more present wheat. Also a slight copper hint from the carbonation gets present during the finish, while hops are long gone already.

Quite malty with medium hopping. A bit "dirty" German Pilsener and not very memorable.

Mittelpilsige Farbe, schwächelnde Blume. Seifiges Hopfenaroma. Startet mit gewisser Würze eines Billigheimers, kriegt dann noch die Kurve Richtung Pils durch reichlich Bitterhopfen. Typisches norddt. Pils der grobschlächtigen Art. Tut nicht Not!

zenkis (748) - Ogre, LATVIA - SEP 6, 2013
pours pale golden with white medium thick-bubbly top, fast diminishing, almost no lasing. Aroma of pure pilsener - malty and mild hoppy, even a bit towards strong pilsener, min alcoholic and honey notes but only in aroma, cause flavor is mild and not very expressive with balanced sweetness and light bitter. Light to medium body, no dry finish, pleasant mild bitter aftertaste, sticky texture. Pleasant for an amount drinking but for pilsener lacks character. No defects.
