4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Good beer for my 100th review. Had this one in Rothenburg, Germany while on my europe trip. Had it on tap. Beautiful amber color with a white creamy head. Aromas of dough and some fruit character to it. Really nice flavor to this one as well. A bit of a banana character too. I really enjoyed this one. Highly Reccomended.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Fine creamy foam. Starts strong and fruity, like banana, not too much, finish modest yeasty. Good hefeweizen!

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle (from Bitter Virtue). Maltier flavour than most but otherwise quite standard weizen fare. Slightly spicy and sweet. The maltiness does make a nice change though.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from the Dodgy Deli, Cowley Road, Oxford 24-01-08 Pours golden in colour with haze and large white head. Yeast and banana dominate the nose but there is also some spice, cloves? Whilst quite refreshing this is a bit sweet, some wheatiness in the mouth, quite soft feel but bitterness ok.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap in Ingolstadt on 6/7/07: Pours an effervescent cloudy golden bronze with an airy, forthy white head. Aroma of sweet malted wheat with nice light banana notes and bready German yeast. Body starts very full for the style with nice sweet wheatiness and banana and clove complexity. Finishes rich and flavorful with lingering bready notes. One of the best Hefeweizens I’ve had.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
500ml vom Fass shared with Finn. Rounded hefe smell of spicies and wheat. Filmy layer. Moderate level of haze to a light orange body. Clove and fruity tartness make up a rather short-lived flavour. Dry ending. Very sweet (West Park, Ingolstadt, 22.06.2007).

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap Southern Germany: Unclear orange with fine lasting white fluffy head. Fruity, malty, citrus aroma and taste. Moderate banana & wheat - not overwhelming. Lively carbonation. Good lacings. Fine taste - but a bit watery palate!

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
There is a nice head on this golden weiss bier. The aroma is very wheaty and the flavour is like a good weiss should be, but it also has an interesting note of citrus, that leads my thoughts in the direction of an Belgian wit. It has sweetness, wheat, banana, and it’s a really nice weiss, not as good as Maisel though...
