Traditional German wheat.

Extra fein gefiltert.

Golden body, big white head that went away relatively slowly. Soft banana in the nose, fruity. Chewed up bubblegum in the taste, slightly siticky but generally soft, crappy bitter hoppy note, slightly chalky, unimpressive but not bad.

Bottle 0,5l at Angi’s Ingolstadt 23 Jun 07. Clear golden colored. A good-looking "tulip" that soon settled. Bubbles in the glass. Citric aroma. Very carbonated. A bit unvaried and dull, but defenitely a wheat-beer feeling.

Tap, Southern Germany gasthof: Clear yellow with white lasting head. Malty aroma. Light thin body. Fresh taste of wheat & hops. Palate a bit like a lager - wheaty, fruity notes makes the difference! Easy drinkable & enjoyable!

Bottle in Fort Wayne, IN. Poured clear amber hue with a large frothy white head that was mostky lasting with good lacing. Moderate citrus wheat aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Light sweet bitter balanced flavor with an average finish. Drinkable average brew.

500ml bottle - Pours clear yellow with a medium sized head. It has a light malt and yeast aroma. The flavor is light and sweet with some very mild citrus. A lively mouthfeel is pleasant enough in a too thin body. The finish is refreshing. This beer is a little too bland, but it’s not bad.

A yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet and totally dominated by wheat. The flavor is sweet wheaty, but the body is thin. Good for a Kristal Weizen, but if I want a weizen I don’t want it filtered.

Clear golden hue with fading head and some lace. The aroma hints of malts and grains, musty yeast, some banana but no spice or citrus and very faint. The taste is clean and crisp in it delivery, but still not a sharp as some Kristals. Tones of banana, wheat bread, and yeast found, but again most spice and citrus is too subdued. Fizzy mouthfeel and the standard weak body of a kristalweizen. On a very hot summer day, this can be a good first thirst quencher. Otherwise, it doesn’t offer much else.

Slightly cloudy yellow with a decent head. Cotton candy nose, faint esters. Smooth mouthfeel, banana and bubblegum tatste. Decent carbonation. Best of the Herrnbraus, so far!
