Entdecken Sie Weizen in seiner mildesten Form ! !

Bottle: Golden, hazy with a medium-sized stable white head; moderate wheaty nose, a bit clovey too, with detectable influences of citrus-fruits; moderate sourish-sweetish flavour, creamy MF, medium bodied; increasing citrousy aromas in the sourish-sweetish finish with a little tartness and bitterness in the aftertaste. Good and very pleasant..........

(bottle) Cloudy, golden colour with a blond and rocky foamy head. Yeasty and sweet (wheat-)malty aroma with distinctive notes of grains and vanilla accompanied by banana and a tinge of cloves. Moderately sweet and slightly sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Yeasty and wheaty taste with a light to moderate fruit-character (banana) and mildly spicy phenols, most of all vanilla; Slightly sweet wheaty and tart finish, now with stronger spicy notes and a whiff of hoppy and yeasty bitterness. Decent and easy to drink Weizen. 31.VIII.09

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Cloudy goden with an off-white head. A little banana, yeast and phenols in the nose. Medium body, very distinct banana esters - sweet too. Yeasty. Ends dry but not too heavy on the phenols. A nice Hefe. 280111

It is a rather average Hefeweissbier. It is tasty to a point, but overall it leaves something to be desired, too clovey.
