COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Pours cloudy amber with a beige head. Aroma is malty, dusty hop, flower and earthy. Strange aroma. Flavour is malt, alcohol, light citrus hop.

On tap at Orsted Olbar, May 2006 at 8.0%. Hazy amber colour. Plenty of juicy hop presence in both aroma and flavour. Unfortunately there was a hint of diacetyl on the nose too. Quite clean and refreshing.

Bottled. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is bready malts, some slight sugar, alcohol and caramelly notes. Also some burnt rubber. Flavour is raisins, grass, alcohol and some very interesting US hoppy finish, Kind of grass mixed with caramel malts and some rather strong bittery notes.

Bottled at Kukko, Turku. Hazy golden, thick foaming head. Grainy herbal nose, hint of vanilla, very sweet maltiness. Pretty nice sweet flavor, sugary maltiness, american hops, little grain and herbal notes, nothing particular pointing out. Almost full bodied, smooth round carbonation. Sweet and somewhat simple, but oddly enjoyable.

Small off-white head, diminishing. Golden amber body. Hoppy aroma, malt, wheat, flowers. Sweet and good bitter balance. Oily texture. A good fresh "Spring beer".

On tap at Lord Nelson. Pours golden with a large white head. Nice aroma with notes of wheat and fruit. The flavor is quite sweet, a bit to sweet for my liking. Not bad.

Sigmund (5606) - Tau, NORWAY - MAR 23, 2009
500 ml bottle, kindly brought home from Copenhagen by my wife. Brew #213, ABV is 7.5%. Hazy golden colour, big white head. Strong sweetish and "perfumed" aroma, "wheaty" notes (despite wheat not being one of the ingredients), notes of bananas and citrussy hops (Cascade), hints of spices. The flavour is sweet and fruity, again with hints of spices, alcohol is noticeable. A moderate but distinct hoppy / grapefruity bitterness in the finish. Okay.

Bottle. Real spring aroma with flowers, grass and hops. Unclear light amber colour with white head. Bitter hops flavour with a distinct bitter aftertaste. Low to moderate carbonation.

best before aug.1 tasted jul.15. bottle 50cl. STRONG aroma of citurs, pineapple, little bit of pine. great aroma. slightly hazy yellow with a small head. flavor is beer-bitter with lots of orange and hints of banana. ample bitterness to balance the yellow fruits. bitterness is not my favourite kind of bitterness, but okay as everything else is quite forceful. good use of 7.5% alc. nice beer after all.

OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 1, 2008
Draught @ Lord Nelson, Copenhagen. Thin, mostely lasting beige cream head upon a slightly hazed, pale amber colored body. Inviting fruity aroma of sweetish grapefruits and flowers. Taste is acidulous fruits and fresh bittering hops. Moderate malt profile. Medium body. Fruity sweetness in the finish. A very quenching and likeable brew.
