3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught at Plan B
Dark color; creamy head. As Andre confirms, the aroma shows some infection. Luckly the infection is much less evident in the flavor, where we find a good combination of caramel and roasted malt, a soft mouthfeel and a long ending bitterness.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Huge brown creamy head that mostly lasted. Dark mahogany color. Good lacing. First thing that I detective was light floral, then berrys and light vinious notes. Mouth feel revieled notes of burned, brown sugar and light notes of coffee, chocolate and liquorish. Medium to full bodied with a flat carbonation and a slightlyg dry texture. Flavour was moderated sweet malt with light bitter notes. Nice linguering sweet finish. Excellent Stout.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at Frederikshavn øl- og vinfestival 07. Sweet liquorice aroma. Almost black colour, very small head. OK roasted flavour with some spicy liquorice. Not too powerful, but OK. The aftertaste is a little fruity which I find a bit strange in this beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Dark brown pour with deep subtle red hues, tall, well retained medium brown head, spotty lacing. Looks like a glass of dirty quicksand. Semi sweet aroma of cocoa powder, roasted malts, rye, grainy wheat and not yet ripened oranges. Flavor is stupendous, complex notes of bready chocolate and roasted malts, lesser rye and wheat grains, citrus fruits and anise in moderation. Finishes grainy but incredibly complex, so smooth. Palate is light to medium and mildly warming, moderately acidic, very creamy. Coffee bitterness lingers. One-of-a-kind and very enjoyable and balanced.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dark colour and an ok brown head. Relativly hobby/fruity aroma with notes of sweet oranges and not too much roastyness. Pretty balanced flavor with alot more hobby bitterness than a regular stout, not too heavy.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
500ml bottle (bryg 11). Brown-yellow body under a rustic foamy head. Burnt dark malty smell. Lots of roastiness in taste related to grains, dark chocolate and coffee - and a brush of liquorice. Nice bitter ending (14.01.2007).
