En sød, blød, chokoladefyldt stout. Fruen var overordentligt begejstret - gik overraskende godt til en baconburger i øvrigt.

Black, dark tan brief head. Fruity, banana, esters on the nose. Quite fizzy palate. Rich treacly coffee and banana cake taste. Finish is an excellent coffee with espresso burntness, but no astringency. Loads of esters come for the ride. Covers the alcohol well. Very solid stout.

Jul 26, 2008 (Bottled) Almost black with a large, beige head. Mild, caramely-malty aroma with some sourness and licorice. Licorice-malty flavor with some burned color malt, and hints of oatmeal sourness. Medium to full body with some bitter hops. A quite pleasant, but slightly too burned stout.

Jul 10, 2008 Black beer with a light brown head. Spicy aroma with chocolate, malts and salty water. Chocolate, salt and licorice in the flavour, though a bit thin mouthfeel.

Black colour with brown head. Darkish aromas with juniper most prominent. Pleasant chocolatey/toasty in flavour with gentle alcohol balance. Warming beer with medium bitterness.
