Ungstrup (29172) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAY 22, 2005
UPDATED: JUL 31, 2005 A hazy amber beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is malty and quite hoppy combined with notes of yeast and caramel - and so is the flavor, leading to a dry, slightly roasted end.

Unclear dark amber colored, small off-white head. Sweet malty aroma with honey and caramel tones and a bit of spices. Malty flavor as well, slightly roasted with sweet notes of caramel and some honey in the end. Quite fruity with hoppy tones. Well-balanced and tasty. An all night beer!

ToolHead (266) - København, DENMARK - MAY 13, 2005
50 cl bottle. Served in plastic sample cup. Hazy copper. Limited head. Pleasantly, "dark" citrusy aroma. Citrusy (orange more than lemon) flavor w/ plenty of rye and some sweetish honey notes. Beautifully balanced. Full mouthfeel. Impressive drinkability. An interesting, harmonious ale that tastes big for its modest strength. Thanks for sharing, Michael.
