Bottle (50 cl) from Systembolaget. Hazy amber with a creamy off-white head. Nice fruity and caramelly aroma with peaches, along with floral and spicy hops. Medium bodied and soft, feels like it carries more than 5.2 % abv. Nicely balanced with a bitter ending.

Aug 3, 2008 (Bottle) Pours dark reddish amber. The aroma is of nutty, light caramelly, light biscuity and light roasted malt with some floral hoppy tones to back it up. Sweet honey and spicy rye notes are also present. Fruity undertones of oranges (peel), apricot and maybe some sweet candy banana. Hints of juniper berries, ginger, nutmeg and pine. The flavour is spicy, light fruity and light to medium hoppy with a rater complex maltiness. Tones of mild grapefruit/citrus, nuts, biscuit, mild juniper/pine, honey, light roast and some subtle fruits hints. Light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter. The mouthfeel medium soft/creamy, light oily, light chewy and light juicy. The finish is light woody and dry. Over medium bodied. Nice amber with a deeper character than your normal example of the style.

Swett, spicy and nutty aroma.
Slightly vinous.
Sweet and really malty flavour.
Dry and roasted with hazelnuts.
Pretty thick; slightly´oily with a medium bitterness.

Deep hazy orange. Sweet and spicy aroma, maybe juniper. Full bodied, smooth and tingly carbonation. Huge hoppy kick, some ginger, hint of grapefruit. Long hoppy finish. Solid malty body. Well balanced, but it seems to go to 11 on almost everything.

Slight shady copper color, small tan head. Sweet, malty, spicy and roasted scent, some aclohol and coffee, Sweet, malty, sugary and dry roasted taste. Smooth to moussy mouthfeel, low to medium bitterness.
