dornoy (603), Lyngby, Denmark Sep 15, 2007 White head on a scrumpy pale yellow body. Rather a disappointment. With a name like this, I expected something mess acid in taste, but the citrus element seems to be much too present.
Plimmer (200), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 27, 2008 Bottle 50cl. Yellow hazy body with a huge steady white head leaving some laces. Fruity aroma with lots of yeast and spices. Light and carbonated body dominated by spices. Bitter aftertaste - i guess its from the birch.
trapez (168), Hilleroed, Denmark Jun 22, 2008 Bottle 0.5 l. Bought Irma Hilleroed. Aroma is fruit (citrus) and wood, in fact the birch wood is quite characteristic, more so than what is found in the brew from "Skovlyst". Pale yellow unclear colour with medium white head. Flavour is rather dry and in accordance with the the aroma - especially the birch - unusual but characteristic! Samma (46), Australia Apr 21, 2008 This is a classic Wheat -murky yellow appearance, strong nose, and lots of fruity action on the palate. Well-balanced... one of the best Wheats I sampled in Denmark. Maria (3738), Thisted, Denmark Feb 2, 2008 Thank you Jonna! It’s a hazy, light golden beer with a nice, big head. The aroma has a light sweetness, notes of wheat, banana, spices and a light citrus. The flavour has the same notes, but the spicy part is stronger. It also has an interesting and somewhat dry and astringent bitterness, that probably comes from the used birch-sap and -bark. Quenching summer beer! Thomas_E (4814), Copenhagen, Denmark Oct 16, 2007 Cloudy yellow colour with a white head. Wheaty, fruity and spicy aroma with banana and yeast notes. Wheaty, light yeasty and citric flavor with a banana fruityness and a light dry and spicy finish.
