thewolf (3979), Kolding, Denmark Jun 27, 2007 Tap @ Lord Nelson. Slightly hazy pale yellow with a small creamy white head. Aroma is great and fruity. There is banana, coriander, sugar, malts and other spices. A good slightly creamy mouthfeel meets me when taking the first sip. Then sweet malty and fruity wit flavours abound. Then a whole lot of spicyness breaks through! Coriander, thyme, pepper. Finishes dry and spicy (not terribly bitter). mirjukka (436), LOHJA, Finland Jul 28, 2008 sample of bottle SOPP 2008 Helsinki
color:light yellow hazy
Taste:nice phenols birch aroma, nice bitterness as well Pinball (596), Allerød, Denmark Jul 26, 2008 aroma : citrus and witbeer notes. nice for the style. quite strong.
appearance. gargantuan white head on top of almost clear yellow brew with tons of bubbles.
flavor is fine for a witbier, quite well balanced, but not as refreshing as the best of the kind. If you prefer witbier in the bitter end of the scale, you’ll love this one. aftertaste is not that bitter though. The birch brings an interesting touch, and stays into the finish. Lots of applause for being inventive and getting away with it, herslev. MiP (6029), Flensburg, Germany Aug 21, 2008 Bottle, 5.5%. OK citric aroma. Milky yellow colour. Big stable white head. Slightly sweet clove flavour. OK bitterness. Flavourful yet refreshing. saxo (2322), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark Aug 8, 2008 Bottle. Huge head with excellent duration. Color is hazy pale golden. Aroma and taste are rich with yeast, fruit and malt. Notes of citrus as well.
