Bottled. Amber coloured. Unclear. Dense light brown head. Aroma of fruits, spice and some sweetness. Flavour of alcohol, light liqourice, fruits, spice and some caramel. Medium bodied. Dry spiced and fruity end.

Pours clear deep amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, dried fruits, vanilla, oak with a hint of something sour. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long warm alcohol, caramel finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonaiton is soft.

Bottle, courtesy of Meilby. Pours deep amber with a beige head. Aroma of dried fruits, malt, red fruits, vinous and sugar. Flavor is sweet and malty with some dried red fruits, warming notes, sugar and caramel. Full body, soft carbonation. Really nice .

Bottle, shared by Meilby. It pours a finger-thick beige head over a clear, reddish amber body. The aroma has dried fruits, some fluor like hops, citrus hints, caramel and some alcohol. Bourbon maybe. The flavor is on the sweet side, with caramel, some acidity, alcohol, hoppy flavors and bitterness as well as a little touch of honey. Full-bodied and oily, quite flat, but it suits the beer very well. A pleasant barley wine indeed. 120324

Bottle.....for my Rating 900.... bottle no 637 Batch 115-2... It pours dark deep amber with a large nice creamy off white head.... The aroma is lots of caramel and dark ripe fruits.... The flavor is very sweet sugary, and lots of fruit..... With an warming alcoholic finish........ SOOO NICE ....

Bottle, 50cl. Pours a clear and reddish/brown beer with an offwhite/orange head. The aroma is malt, redwine, wood, vanilla, sweetness. The flavor is close to the nose. The palate is sweetness. Overall a really good beer.

Pours copper with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, fruity, redwine, oak and vanilla. Flavour is sweet caramel, fruity, redwine, oak and vanilla.

First Snowfall of the Season tasting in Odense. Deep red amber beer with a small off-white head. Red wine and oak wood dominate the aroma, with rich malt, fruit and a hint of coconut. Sweet and complex malty flavour with lots of toffee, balanced by tannins and notes of fruit, berry and red wine.
