Bottle at Kbh. BeerFest2010. Clear Dark brown - offwhite head. Wooden. Fruity. Berries. Nutty. dried fruits. Light tratness. Light sharpness. Nice.

Sample from (dusty) bottle, CBF 2012. Deep amber beer with no head. Aroma with roasted malts, wood and caramel, a hint of alcohol. Sweet taste with caramel and wood - oak? Full body with a thick texture - hard to get out of the glass. Long lasting dry, slightly roasted, finish. Lovely BW.

bottle at ungstrups, bought at toft vin. clear dark brown, small yellow head. roasted malty aroma, boozy, wood. flavor is roasetd malts, borwn suhgar, wood, great blaance, nice roasted maty barley wine. very tasty and reasonably complex.

Bottle....It pours hazy dark with a medium tan head.....The aroma is roasted malts, wood and some vanilla.....The flavor is roasted malts, dark fruits, some alcohol and yeast.....nice thick body....nice warming alcoholic finish.....

Bottle at Ungstrup. Hazy red-brown coloured with a medium sized beige head. Sweet and fruity aroma of caramel, dried fruits, cookies and oak with notes of chocolate. Sweet and fruity flavour of caramel, dried fruits, oak and chocolate. Sweet finish.

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, roasted malt, wood, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, caramel, and wood, leading to a dry roasted finish. Thanks pinball.

Pours light muddy dark brown, fine, small, creamy, beige head. Fair duration. Aroma has lots of red wine, light grape tartness, mild chocolate and prunes. Vinious, soft, velvety. Very low carbonation, super-creamy and soft mouthfeel. Flavour has chocolate, oak, red wine, raisins, prunes, soft iodine, grapes, cocoa. Softly vinious and quite malty and oaky dry finish. Quite yummy, really.

Leicht kirschiger Antrunk, malzig, extrem süß. Die zu krasse Süße überdeckt die meisten anderen Aromen, daher ist das Bier nur wenig würzig. Auch die Eichenfasslagerung ist nur wenig schmeckbar. Ein glatter Fehlschlag! 10/6/7/4//2

Bottle 50 cl. Hazy dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of wood and hard roasted malts with some vanilla. Solid body, hard roasted malt, nuts and dried fruit. Some warming alcohol in the finish. 060510

Bottle at KØ10. Vinous and vanilla aroma. Almost clear dark red brown colour. Sweet flavour, some vanilla and cream. Not enough bitterness to balance off the sweetness.
