(Draught at Ölbaren, Copenhagen, 26 Jan 2013) Black colour with hints of ruby, creamy beige head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with notes of dried fruit, raisins, coffee and chocolate. Malty, fruity taste with red fruit, caramel, bready malt and a slightly spicy bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with rounded mouthfeel and a certain malt sweetness. Quite well balanced. Very nice.

Tap at Ølbaren. Almost clear, transparant orange-reddish brown with a frothy, slowly diminishing tan head, leaving laces. Initial strong coffee aroma, then vanilla notes take over. Reminds me of American bubblegum, a little soggy. Flavor is sweet sticky vanilla and coffee, low on bitterness. A little thin for the ABV. Not a fan.
