3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Large thick foamy beige head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Mahogany cloudy color. Aroma of pineapple, fresh grassy, citrus and some oily notes as well. Over the palate came light roasted malt that mix well with the hoppy and light fruity notes. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Light to moderated sweet and bitter flavor that is very well balanced together. Light dry and hoppy finish that somewhat lingers on. Nice and very drinkable beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A coffee and dark malt dominated ale. Not very typical BIPA
Dark color with a fine beige head. Some lacing. Ok aroma intensity. Mostly coffee, chocolate and some hoppy notes. Medium + body and a bit soft carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Coffee, chocolate, licorice, mild hoppy and some fruity notes.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Dark is the keyword to this IPA. Chocolate nose and taste with a rich happy note from citrus and freshness. Quite unexpected considering the colour. This a really great "alternative" IPA with a touch of stout.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
50cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian - thanks! Pours very dark brown with a reddish hue with a beige head. Surprisingly mild roasty aroma with some coffee and chocolate, dark fruits, hints of wood, smoke and hops. Medium sweet and less flavourful than expected. Fair enough.

First IDA, good mix between Brown ale and IPA. Would have liked a bit more hops to emphasise the IPA.

Mörk nästan svart, litet skum. Kallt kaffe och humle liten beska. Lite för mycket kolsyra blir lite stickigt.

Fresh probably tastes better but still very nice not a black ipa but brown ale for sure. Lovely bitterness balance. Nice!

Flaske: Sortbrun uklar øl med et fint tætsiddende skumhoved. Duften er let brændt og med en del citrushumle. Smagen er forholdsvis behagelig i forhold til at det er en black ipa. Alt i alt en udmærket øl.
