Sweet christmas beer which is sporting a lot of the typical seasonings for that time of year. I found it quite enjoyable. The orange was especially noteworthy. An extra point for being organic.

Bottle. An unclear, orangey brown beer topped by a small, off-white head. Yeast chunks. Orange and roasted malts on the nose. A spiced touch too. Dry, effervescent, medium bodied. The flavor has some orange blending in between the toffee, sweetness and nuts. There’s also a spiced touch. Some orange-peel bitterness in the finish. I see the Christmas reference in this one, but I can’t really say it rang any bells for me. 100423

Pours muddy copper with a beige head. Aroma is caramel and light spice. Flavour is caramel, spice, cardemomme and cinnamon.

Bottled. A slightly hazy red-amber beer with a thin light tan head. The aroma has notes of nuts, star anise, caramel, malt, and subdued note of other spices I can’t name. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and nuts to start off, but then a quite powerful note of staranise comes along, which towards the end is accompanied by a very bitter note of the white inside of the orange peal, leading to a dry and quite bitter finish.

Murky brown color, small off-white head. Chocolaty, yeasty, grainy aroma. Grassy and grainy flavor with chocolate and spiceys. Quite standard.

Bottled (thanks Papsoe!). Deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruits, some wood, yeast and mild toasted notes. Flavour is dark dry fruits, yeast and some slight notes of wood.

Unclear medium brown color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, cheese - blue cheese. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, blue cheese. Body is light medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091022]

Botella, shared by Pinball, thanks. Cloudy dark brown colour, medium rather short lasting head. Hoppy, spiced toasty malty aroma. Bit thin mouthfeel. Flavour has mild roasty caramel and malt with spice and a mild bitterness. Light infection noticed in the finish.

Bottle.Hazy brown colour with no head.Aroma of orange peel and x-mas spices,slight watery mouthfeels with hint of caramel and rubber mild sweet finish.

Flaske: Brun uklar øl med et lille skumhoved. Store proteinklumper flyder rundt. Duft af malt og gær. Ikke så mange krydderier. De kommer i smagen der igen er maltdomineret med et lille humlebid bagerst. Fin øl, men floaties trækker en kende ned.
