A dark amber/brown red coloured beer with a tiny small light tan head. Noses of yeast, orange peel and faintly of malt. The taste is light sweet with faint bitterness. Light fizzy and water texture. The finish is light slick and medium developing some mouthwatering fruityness. Interesting christmas beer.

Bottle, 50 cl, at home. Slightly hazy brown with a small off-white head. Sweet fruity orange peel aroma. Taste is sweet malty orange-scented, leading to an inoffensive, easy forgettable sweet malty, spicy finish.

Flaske 0,5l fra Vinmonopolet, Tromsø Sentrum. Drukket i heimen 21 Nov 12. Uklar siste kvelling. Mye bunnfall.

500ml bottle, batch 625, from Vinmonopolet Tromsø, Langnes. Deep dark amber coloured body. Unclear last pour. Tiny, but stable, beige layer. Modest aroma of earthy malts and mid-sweet caramel. Taste of dough and marmalade with star anise taking over towards the ending. Sweet finish. Soft in the mouth.Very average festive season beer (at home, decorating the Christmas tree, 23.12.2012).

Bottle, 2011 vintage. Pours hazy brown, with a nice creamy head. Light aroma of sweet malts, with notes of fruitiness and a light spicy whiff. Flavour is a bit too sweet and far too short lived, with plums, raisins and some dark fruits as well as molasses and sugar.
