Bottle @ home. BB 2012-02. Clear dark amber and reddish color and a lasting beige head, no lacing. Malty and moderate sweet aroma with grains, caramel, red fruits, wheat and biscuits. Lightly vinous, with lightly and well integrated cardboard from aging. Sweet, fruity and with a smooth texture. Medium to big mouth feel. Taste has notes of malt, gooseberry, red apples, biscuits, wheat and some syrup. A bit of watery sensation (for a bock) appears in mid taste. Drier finish with earth, honey and balanced bitterness. Has aged really well.

0,5 l, flaske, 8,0 % ABV, BB 11/03/14, købt i Barley Wine i CPH City, 2. oktober 2014.

Bottle from Vika enjoyed at home
Dark copper clear, thick dense beige head. Smells of caramel, hay, dried fruits, nuts and malts. Taste is heavy sweet, some alcohol and dried fruits. Light bitter finish, some earthy tones. Full body, average carbonation, light oily texture. Overall a quite drinkable bock, nice tonality, it got alot of nice layers

From the tap in the Brewpup in Kopenhagen/ Orange-red body, fruity a bit sugary-alcoholic. Not my favourite. 10/5/6/5/-/5

500 bottle, from Vinmonopolet Vika. Batch #461. Unfiltered and unpasteurised. ABV is 7.5%. Hazy amber colour, large off-white head. Sweetish but nice aroma, ripe fruits, malts and some caramel. The flavour is also fruity and malty, medium sweet, with tolerable hops in the finish. The alcohol is not very well hidden, but that’s okay - after all, this IS a bock. Quite enjoyable.
