COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Engelsk i stilen.

Dense particles, orange-copper color and a clean white head. Fruity, vegetal dry-hopped nose. Strangely, the aroma suggested tomatoes to me. Malty flavor with an odd cheese and fruit hoppy quality. I didn’t care for this very much.

[Bottle] Hazy orange colour. Large firm head. Biscuit aroma with notes of orange zest. Tastes pretty much as it smells. Quite tasty, but the flavour is a little bit too short I think.

Bottle. Golden with little head. Hops and also quite fruity - a bit bitter. Also a bit of lemon taste.

this beer was a gusher. the appearance was cloudy w/ good carbonation bubbles and a thin light head that dissipated quickly. the aroma was of hopps and citurs, the palate was creamy a touch sweet and full of the carbonation sting. The fliver was mildly bitter w/ hints of something earthy... I liked this beer but there was nothing incredibly impressive about it.

Bottle. Hazy deep honey color, medium white head. Nose is pale malts, some uncanny canny hints (sorry, just had to :-P) and citrus. A bit strange, overall. Taste is pale malts, hints of citrus and grass. A bit low on flavor, and could also be fresher; despite a substantial grassy hop bitterness it still ends up feeling a bit too sweet. An OK pale ale, but vastly overrated and nothing that really tickles my pickle. Besides, the price is just ridiculous: 79 NOK (around 15 USD at current rates) for a mediocre 5,9 % APA is just lunacy, even for *Norwegian* standards... :-S Someone is making a lot of profit here; whether it’s the brewery or importer I don’t know but since the profit margin for Vinmonopolet (the state-owned strong alcohol monopoly store chain in Norway) it’s not the last end of the chain, at least. Definitely won’t buy again.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2012 Bottle. Light hazy and golden colour with a white head. Rich aroma with notes of citrus, fruit and malty. Malty flavor with some grassy hops and fresh carbonation. This pale ale gives a nice full mouthfeel.

Fad. Igen skuffende.
